On the eve of celebrating Canada Day (01 July 2018)   – I have written a
POEM – which expresses my/our Thank You Canada – for bestowing respect, dignity and growth of   our family and friends.

Canada   our land

So   beautiful

So empowering

So polite and respectful

With four seasons

With people from all over

For freedom, equality and dignity

We are passionate about you

 

Thank You  Thank You   Thank You

For our 44 years within your bosom

For our children & their spouses

For our great grandchildren

For our friends in Niagara Falls

Where we started

For our friends in Deep River

Where we are in retirement

For our friends in many cities

Where   we had worked for living

 

Thank You   Thank You   Thank You

For our Canadian extended families

For fulfilling our dreams

For being there when we needed

 

O! Canada

We celebrate Canada day

With enthusiasm, pride and joy

We stand on guard for thee
