Jesus Christ Superstar

My wife and I attended the musical play “Jesus Christ Superstar” on the opening night, Monday July 29th 2001. We were seated on the first row and had the
opportunity to absorb the intensity and vibration emanating from a very fine acting

by each and every actor and actress. The music and songs were superb. The play

was exquisite. I tried to get a ticket to go again but it was full house all the days.

It was a powerful play awakening the spirituality within. The message of Jesus
Christ, of humbleness, sacrifice and love, was reawakened. It is rather unfortunate

that many a times such message is forgotten conveniently by human beings.

Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ made his presence revealed, is burning these days

albeit over a hill (supposed to have houses of worship for God).

What a pity! How are we all caught in the web of the circumstances! and do not
see the truth. The powerful usually carry the day and we become mere spectators.

That seems to be the reality.
