Recent thoughts:

The rose garden at the back of house still gives the same joy and deeper understanding and meaning of life. The roses have provided such a support
and cheer in their own way to Jackie and myself when offered around the photos of our fallen brothers .

The view ,every morning, encourages me to reflect as to the diversity in life and also the “built-in” continuity that nature has in its “scheme of
things”. The cycle of life continues with someone or something in our garden gets removed periodically but then substituted by the seeds (or
saplings) left behind. The garden has also afforded us to do something for nature. Jackie has placed a tray of water in the garden .Everyday (all
day) we find birds are making a  detour to obtain their fill of water .
What a pleasant sight !! Life in its full bloom !  Every day , I find this “bird visits and chirping” very
therapeutic to our souls.

It is painful when our growth and mosaic get somewhat disrupted suddenly and unexpectedly. To get over the  “mountains of memories”  and “hole of
helplessness” is a very monumental task . I find it we need some inner thoughts, prayers, insight and understanding of the continual cycle of life (and death) as determined by powers beyond our own capability. The situation needs understanding and it takes the whole garden and  the environs ( family , friends and nature)  around it to act as embalming lotion.

Ultimately it is the connectivity that we develop between ourselves and nature that will pull us through the helplessness .

The  “view from the window” takes me through the microcosm world of the garden at the back and my acceptance , in a small way, to the realities of
life.  Achievements , however,  small and good memories give us strength to subscribe to the grand design of continuity and becoming once again
full and helpful member for the family and  society at large.

Many thanks for putting through my musings.

Regards,
