View from the House Window- 1

Hi!
Every morning, I am quite fortunate to have the day begin by having a view of the rose garden from my kitchen window. This happens, as immediately
when I wake up prior to doing anything else, I go to the kitchen sink (below the window facing the garden) to get water for making my morning tea. This gives me the direct view of the rose garden.
Last week, the lone yellow rose was proudly showing and strutting its stuff amongst all shades of pink roses. The yellow rose was by itself amongst all other different flowers. This diversity in color made the garden look fabulous.
The nature gives us a lesson in harmony and also a direction and guidance that even if you are different and by yourself, you can provide valuable positive
contribution to the whole. The other pink flowers were there, subtly, absorbing the benefit of the diverse but beautiful yellow flower. The whole orchestra of the
flowers has now gripped the attention of the world thru the human eye ( that is mine). I am glad to share that with you, my friends.
regards,
Pravin Shah
Note:
This is how one of my friends used it at her Church.
See below. I have to lead the worship at a church committee meeting next week and the more I thought of your message,
the more I felt I could use it in a Christian context. I hope you don’t take offense. If you would rather I didn’t use it please
let me know. Take care
As I read this note from my friend I was reminded of another rose, the Rose of Sharon - Jesus.
Jesus was different, just as the yellow rose in my friend’s garden was different, He stood out
among the crowds as He preached and spread the word of God. You can see Jesus walking
through the countryside and I guess you could say when it came to the Word of God, He did
strut his stuff as the yellow rose did in the garden, but He did it in a way that people absorbed
the benefits of this diverse but beautiful rose. He could be a vibrant figure at times, with thorns,
as he through the money lenders from the synagogue and at other times a quiet, gentle man
with only love and understanding as he looked on the children.
Today, I see Jesus as that yellow rose, in a garden that is our world, full of pink roses ready,
or almost begging to be apart of His garden.
